Vinpocetine

Vinpocetine is a powerful memory enhancer. It facilitates cerebral metabolism by improving cerebral microcirculation (blood flow), increasing brain cell ATP production (energy), and increasing utilization of glucose and oxygen. Vinpocetine is a derivative of vincamine, which is an extract of the periwinkle plant. 

In one double-blind crossover study normal, healthy volunteers showed incredible short-term memory improvement an hour after taking 40 mg of vinpocetine. 

Dosage: One 10 mg capsule, one to four times per day.
