Pyroglutamate (PCA)

Among the most popular and beneficial of cognitive enhancing pharmaceuticals are drugs known as nootropics. The prototype and best-tested and still most widely used drug in this class is piracetam, or NootropilTM. Piracetam is very similar in chemical structure and has similar clinical effects to the dietary supplement known as pyroglutamate.
